Overview & Highlights

Nestled in the heart of Rouen at 22 Rue du Général Giraud, Les Andalouses is more than just a kebab shop—it’s a beloved local institution that brings both warmth and flavor to every visit. Known for its authentic kebab offerings, this spot has evolved with care and passion, delighting regulars and newcomers alike with generous portions and fresh ingredients that never fail to satisfy.

What sets Les Andalouses apart is not only its delicious kebabs but also the genuine hospitality extended by its owner, Mr. Bousade. Customers repeatedly speak of his kindness and how he goes the extra mile to create a welcoming atmosphere, as captured by loyal patron Gharbi Mohamed, who fondly recalls sharing meals there since childhood and now passing that tradition on to his own family. This connection weaves a charming story of community and comfort that’s truly palpable when you walk through the door.

The menu, though focused on kebabs, impresses with its balance of freshness and hearty satisfaction. From tender, well-seasoned meats to crisp fries, every bite offers a delightful contrast of textures and flavors. Reda Brikci highlights the “tacos” kebab as a standout—light yet filling, perfect for anyone craving a satisfying meal without feeling weighed down. The vibrant taste profile, combined with the owner’s lively character, creates an experience that feels both authentic and uplifting.

The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between casual and inviting. Whether you prefer dining indoors or enjoying the streetside seating, the environment encourages relaxed moments and good conversation. One repeat visitor, Taz Denbleyker, notes the remarkable transformation of the place over the years, praising not only the quality of food but also the consistent friendly service accompanied by a warm smile. It’s these little details—a remembered order, a familiar face—that elevate Les Andalouses from a simple kebab shop to a cherished local gem.

If you find yourself in Rouen and craving a genuine, flavorful kebab experience infused with heartfelt service, Les Andalouses is the place to go. Each visit promises not just a meal but a taste of local heritage and a welcoming atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression.

This place is the best kebab at this price range that I have visited in Rouen so far. I took "tacos" kebab and it felt overall fresh and light (for a kebab ) while also being quite filling. The fries were also pretty good. The owner is a really fun person that seems very nice and genuine. I wanted to sit inside to avoid people smoking outside but it was way too hot inside (even though it was getting fresh outside). We ended up eating outside but several people were smoking while I was eating which cut my appetite a bit and ruined the nice taste of food for me (if any of you brothers that smoke read this please try to be considerate for the people eating). Still I definitely recommend the place
